S/Colpite nell'inconscio
The way women are represented, today as in the past, in the public spaces of our cities, statues or pictures, build up people's imagination, often in an unconscious way. We pass by these images, we often don't look at them, but in our mind they forge a certain idea of the woman, which tends to recur. Woman is only a body: idealized, mythologized, unreal. Naked or covered with large robes. Carved in stone, printed on the advertising billboards that dominate our cities. Representations that influence the evolution of the collective imagination. But where is the real, historical woman who makes her contribution to history and to the community?
